Graphical Nonlinear System Analysis

چکیده
We use the recently introduced concept of a Scaled Relative Graph (SRG) to develop graphical analysis input-output properties feedback systems. The SRG nonlinear operator generalizes Nyquist diagram an LTI system. In spirit classical control theory, important robustness indicators systems are measured as distances between SRGs.

Graphical Methods for Nonlinear Analysis of ECG Signals
In this paper are presented the current results of scientific research of heart rate variability (HRV) analysis based on digital electrocardiograms (ECG). This analysis is a non-invasive and effective technique to reflect the autonomic nervous system regulation of the heart. HRV is used to diagnose and estimate of alterations in heart rate by measuring the variation of RR intervals (time interv...
متن کاملA graphical instrument for performance analysis of contractors
The relationship between the manufacturer and supplier has changed from one of competition into that of greater cooperation during recent years. The selection and evaluation of suppliers are primary and important issues when an enterprise implements Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and Total Quality Management (TQM). Much research indicates that most enterprises tend to evaluate their sup...
متن کاملGraphical stability criteria for nonlinear multiloop systems
In this paper a description of a certain class of multiloop systems, called the Standard Multiloop Form, is introduced. This description is expressed explicitly in terms of certain scalar subsystems and can be shown to include many of the common descriptions of multiloop systems. The stability criteria presented in this paper involve the individual Nyquist plots of the linear scalar subsystems ...
متن کاملGraphical Models for Nonlinear Distributed Estimation
Distributed estimation has advantages over centralized estimation in reducing communication bandwidth, distributing the processing load and improving system survivability. One important technical issue in designing distributed estimation architectures and algorithms is the proper treatment of dependent information. This paper presents graphical models to represent dependent information in gener...
متن کاملNonlinear Optimization of Exponential Family Graphical Models
This project explores methods for carrying out projections arising in the information geometry of the exponential family of probability models. Kullback-Leibler divergence serves as the distance measure between probability models in this context. The applications include maximum likelihood parameter estimation given sample paths of an unknown density as well as model reduction where one wishes ...
